Modeling parts that actually print

A model that looks perfect on screen can still fail on the bed. Good print design respects a few physical realities: minimum wall thickness, clearance between moving parts, and overhang angles that need support.

Design with the print orientation in mind. Layer lines are weakest between layers, so orient stress along the layers, not across them.
